Pixelite have been supplying BBC Young Dancer with LED lighting since 2015, providing and rigging RGB tape to enhance the stylish design of the show. Working with lighting designer Nigel Catmur, set designer David Marson and the crew from Elstree Light and Power (ELP), we framed the proscenium arch in theatres like London's Sadlers Wells, and created a false proscenium using truss in less traditional venues. LED strips are also rigged in the auditorium to spice up the shots for broadcast. Pixelite used 5050 RGB 300 LED tape powered by their custom built DMX dimmer racks.

September 14th is the last night of the 2019 season BBC Proms at The Royal Albert Hall. Pixelite have been supplying lighting to the Proms for seven years with strips of RGB and pixel tape to enhance the stage and presentation areas. As the Proms features such a wide range of musical styles and ensembles, the LED lighting can be used to fill empty areas of the stage. It'll be a late night for the crew on Saturday as we de rig the whole thing!

The Pixelite team has just returned from Sir Conwy where we rigged 280M of pixel tape and control at the national Eisteddfod. The National Eisteddfod features a wide range of artists in its famous pavilion. the 20M choir riser becomes an effect screen when there is no choir on stage and provides a stunning backdrop for smaller acts like bands and solo artists. We also rig a single strip to highlight the front of the pavilion stage and two "Eisteddfod" light boxes either side of the stage.

Every job we do is different! Pixelite recently helped Suffolk four piece Reno and Rome create an exciting look to showcase their songs. We helped them build an LED cage for the band to play in and recorded several tracks over a two day stand. We used 180M of our pixel tape and control systems, driven by a media server to acheive a totally different feel for each of the six tracks they were shooting.
